On Sunday May 18, 2025 we gathered to again celebrate RLS’ and Fanny’s wedding anniversary with a garden tea. Monica Hudson, RLS Club President, shared interesting information on Frances Sitwell. The recently published novel, The Absent Heart, explores RLS’ deep attachment and infatuation with Frances Sitwell and the many parallels in her life and the life of his later Fanny, Frances Osbourne. This information came from the Edinburgh RLS Club just in time to add to our festivities.
